Family Tree therapy is a form of psychotherapy that looks at how our family, cultural and social background affect our development and our lives today. It can help to understand how the family past may influence the way we behave, think and feel.
Psycho-genealogy, which is a part of Psychology developed by Anne Ancelin Schutzenberger over many decades in practice where she built thousands of family trees and mapped family patterns repeating over generations-health and relationship issues. The French school studied the inherited patterns and developed the area of understanding various influences in our life events. As a result of life-time research and being a part of the French lineage, Dr. Gilbert Renaud put together all depth of information under the method Recall Healing including:
-
The gestation period programming, where traumas felt by the mother will be taken over to the baby in the womb
-
Life cycles, where a person can experiment recurring events at specific periods of time, based on the individual cycles
-
Family tree, where the unresolved stories of the ancestors come back as traumatic life events, until the person uncovers the secrets and deep felt emotions of the previous generations who passed them the ‘legacy’ at the subconscious level.
Our practitioner Alexandra Morarescu connects this information with an iridology reading and how the genetic information can be identified clearly on what comes from mother and father side and how that tracks back to the challenges we face in our lives and how we can overcome that.
She will support you in building a family tree where you can start to connect the dots between inherited traumas and your own experiences. Even if you have If you have limited knowledge about your family, this could still be very helpful but if you have questions about whether family tree therapy is appropriate for you then please reach out.
